How long have you been spinning the decks for?
I used to play alot more about 16 years ago back in dublin, but it's been about 5yrs now since i played in aany clubs, due to working and gaining experience in a studio, then went to college to learn music and sound technology.. to set up my own deep house label 'CAPTURE RECORDS'..
What originally hooked you into the DJing scene?
it was back in the late 80's when acid jazz and house hit dublin, i used to fly to london just to buy records, i have always bought records from the age of 7 and guess that's when my collection started. i was going out and not hearing anything i liked, so i used to enjoy playing too myself at home, then i started making tapes for my friends and realised that people liked my style.

george benson, stevie wonder, alexander o'neal , freddie jackson, stan getz, freddie hubbard,MAW, arnold jarvis, demarkus lewis, kevin yost,todd edwards, charles webster, herbert,matthew bandy, larry heard. incognito, minnie rippleton, anita baker, their too many for me to list but this is a handful of names..
What type of music do you specialise in?
Well i write deep house music for the label but don't like putting my music in a genre, but if you were i play deep house, jazz, and soulful house..
Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it?
inside my love- minnie rippleton £50 back in the 80's What is your most treasured record and why? i can't answer that, their all treasured, they are a piece of me..they make up who i am and tell my story..

music scene - what do you think about it?
Too be honest, not much.. i feel lucky that i was on on it back in the 80's early 90's when it was all purely about the music.. i don't really go out much anymore as the music doesn't move me unless its someone i admire.. as a producer and label owner i have to network and get to know people which i enjoy but that's work, for my own pleasure i just stay in and write,, but i have one foot in and one foot out of the scene..
What has been your coolest DJ night and why?
Probably in italy when i arrived i could hear outside this euro house(really bad).. i said no why will they like my music, it will put them alsleep, it was packed floor filled and everybody dancing, i put my first record on the whole floor walked off, so i just kept playing regardless then about 20 mins i looked down,everyone was facing me cheering, dancing it became like a concert, i was happy as i knew they got what i was about, they wouldn't let me off after 2hrs so i played a extra hour, and quenes off people waiting for me when i finished.. i was so overwhelmed i ran into the toilet..
Have you got any DJing horror stories?
Just playing on the gay scene, they only want to hear something they know or cheesy pop or really hardhouse.. i used to have friends standing at the box,,' saying she doesn't have it'
