How long have you been spinning the decks for?
Erm, since I was about 8 years old (with my cassette tapes) remember them! Lol Out and about on the scene for about 3 years.
Trinity:
I dnt spin- lol

What originally hooked you into the DJing scene?
Plain and simple, it has to be my lifelong passion for music which started when I was around 8 years old. As I started to rave it developed into a fascination created from the vibes and pleasure regardless of the genre that quality music created; bringing people together and allowing them to have a good time and express themselves. I fell in love with the Dj as a whole and wanted to be part of the movement with that special invisible power. My dream didn’t come from nowhere before I started to live it. I quit my job of 5 years working in a law firm and went back to college to study music production and radio broadcasting.
Trinity:
I love music I love to dance to music etc etc!! But I must admit it was Niya who really got me onto the otherside of the music ie the presenting pressing the odd buttons now n then.

Your musical influences?
Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack, Stevie Wonder, (The King MJ) to present day Mary J Blige, and Jodeci.

Trinity
Soca, Bashment, Funky/House, Classical, Rnb, Jazz, Neo soul.....

What type of music do you specialise in?
Anything soulful but to break it down Neo Soul and Slow Jamz is my thing.

Most expensive tune that you have paid for? – how much was it?
Most expensive tune I paid for is a Jungle collaboration which had “Ribbon In The Sky” and Buju Banton’s “Champion” I must have paid about £10 for it from a record shop in Shepherds Bush Market. I was only 14. £10 was a lot in those days! lol

Trinity:
I think it was Kylie Minogue  -"I can't get you out of my head" I needed the picture of her outfit to get made, I think I spent around a tenner?
What is your most treasured record and why? .
I’m going be cheeky and name two! 1. U.N.V “something’s Going On” as it is absolutely heavy, and I thought I was in heaven when I found it.  It brings back some serious nostalgia. The second is Outcast “Prototype”. This tune is pure genius; although relatively new it has a distinctive classic old skool timeless aura, and sends chills down my spine every time I play it.

Trinity:
CD; well I'm so into House at the moment so it would have be the mix CD's I'm listening too!

What club nights have you played at?
Stunnaz - Hackney Central
Baroque wine bar
I reminisce - Speak Easy
Twilights
Indulgence- Ion Bar
Image - Corney & Barrow wine bar
I spy fancy dress - Agenda

Music scene - what do you think about it?
It’s changed dramatically over the last 10 years, and like everything change is not necessarily always for the better but there are some pros and cons. The main issue I have is the sex, flesh and more sex within the industry. Unless female artists are prancing around selling it (no names mentioned) outstanding, naturally raw, talented musicians/artists fail to get their well deserved recognition. Is it something that they’ll ever get? Most probably not!

Trinity:
I think the RnB music scene is good I believe in flaunting it if u've got it however I do believe in there being a time and a plc and versitility. (Too much of 1 ting...)
For me personally I think artist have to come with a full package, so they stand out "yeh u can sing" but can u dance? do u also look BUFF in and out of a suit? Can u act in ur videos?
Prime eg: 50cence I was not into rap or his music till I saw his body now I'm converted so I do believe its all about the package.
What has been your coolest DJ night and why?
It’s got to be our first night @ Corney & Barrow Wine bar. It was carnival bank holiday weekend in 2008 (I remember it like it was yesterday) the night was an event called Image. From being nervous and unsure what to expect my set went smooth as butter, the crowd was bubbling and I was ecstatic. Let’s say this one night turned into a residency need I say more?

Trinity
Same

Have you got any DJing horror stories?

Yes, but it’s all part of the profession right??? Lol I distinctively remember NYE 2008 being my horror I story I won’t ever forget.  The night was doomed from the get go!  First and foremost, I shopped for days to find the perfect number to bring the New Year in with a bang, then we arrived @ the venue late and when I eventually got on the wheels of steel I fumbled because I didn’t plan my set. To make matters worse I had problems with the output and embarrassing moments of silence and selected the wrong track for my out-row; it was awful. I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me!!!! lol

Trinity:
I was dere - ooopps

Where would be your ultimate DJing location - home and abroad?

Camden’s Jazz Cafe taking care of business while the crowed eagerly await the arrival of one of Neo Souls heaviest artist’s Eric Roberson.
Abroad it would have to be St Lucia’s Jazz festival.

Trinity:
Some where hot would b nice

What clubs / club nights can we find you at?

A few things in the pipe line at the moment so watch out
April 24th - IMAGE!!

What are your all time Top 5 tunes?
1. Jodeci – Stay OMG
2. Intro – Ribbon in the sky
3. Mary J Blige – Love no limit
4. Buju Banton – Champion
5. Christopher Williams – Dance for me

Trinity:
1. Dennis Ferrer - I heard u say
2. I wana Kiss - House track
3. Travelling - House - "Love it"
